Job Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), IPC, and reconciliation bills

• Conduct rate analysis, cost estimation, and budget forecasting

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents

• Perform quantity take-offs from site data and AutoCAD drawings

• Prepare and verify client & subcontractor billing

• Handle extra items / non-BOQ item costing

• Review and certify contractor/vendor invoices

• Develop material, labor, and overall project cost estimates

• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and suppliers

• Manage and evaluate vendor bids and quotations

• Maintain accurate records of estimated vs actual project costs

• Ensure compliance with company procedures and project requirements

Cost Estimation & Pricing

• Prepare and compare cost estimates from different sources, including:

  • Contractor prices

  • Subcontractor prices

  • Government schedule rates (PWD, LGED, RHD)

• Perform comparative rate analysis between market rates and standard schedules

• Prepare detailed rate breakdowns (materials, labor, equipment, overhead)

• Support tendering with accurate and competitive pricing strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSc/BEngg)

• Experience: 1–3 years (Freshers with strong skills may apply)

• Strong understanding of construction drawings & BOQ preparation

• Experience in structural, road, or infrastructure projects preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in:

  • AutoCAD (2D/3D)

  • MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word

• Knowledge of:

  • Rate analysis and estimation techniques

  • DSR / PWD / LGED / RHD schedules

  • Quantity surveying methods
