∎ BSc in Computer Science Engineering from any UGC-approved University
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage OSS (NOC/ITSM) software development and implementation project activities for multiple projects across all project phases including initiation, planning execution, monitoring, control, and closure
∎ Create, manage and track project phases, including, but not limited to project schedules, detailed project plan, project scope statements, cost estimates, resource plans, risk and issues log, and status reports;
∎ Perform and ensure software and regression testing, ensure necessary information through output and ensure correction of application-related problems prior to implementation.
∎ Analyze impacts of NOC/ITSM software systems due to strategic changes in infrastructure i.e. virtualization, data center migration, OS and DB version upgrade
∎ Prepare processes and policies for user access management for the applications and analyze the access load on systems to forecast and plan for future capacity and technological upgrade
∎ Identify training requirements to develop subordinates, manage the performance of direct reports through objective setting, continuous support and feedback, and formal appraisal and provide guidance to employees for their development and career planning
Additional Requirements:
∎ 8+ years of experience with 3 years of relevant managerial experience.
∎ 2+ years of experience in OSS and telecom
∎ Thorough Knowledge of IT & Telecom OSS, ESS, DSS, and BSS architecture;
∎ Experience with OSS, OAM, Element Management, FCAPS, OSS North/South Bound Interface.
∎ Experience with network management applications (SNMP/Non-SNMP) for fault, configuration, and performance management.
∎ Experience in IP Networking (routing, switching, OSPF, VLAN, MPLS, GRE, Ethernet, etc.)
∎ Extensive Experience with Linux Operating systems and Enterprise networks.
∎ Experience in software development and Project Management
∎ Experience with one or more of the following script-writing languages (BASH, Perl, Python, Ansible)
∎ Knowledge of any IT Infrastructure Monitoring tool like Zabbix, CA Spectrum, PRTG, etc.
∎ Excellent leadership, problem-solving, analytical skills, and knowledge
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
