Job Context:
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:

∎ You will be a part of the programme and enterprise communications team, a team of dedicated communications staff working with BRAC's social programmes, social enterprises, social investments and BRAC University. A typical day could include anything from spending a week travelling across a remote haor region to document stories to interviewing senior leadership to understand their plans for the next 50 years.
∎ You will be a key part of the editorial board of BRAC's global blog The Good Feed and a key member of the English content team. We want someone who is at home sitting on the ground with the members of a village organisation, and also leading storytelling workshops with teams across the globe.
∎ This role will offer you on-the-job training and the opportunity to stretch past limits, acquire new skills and broaden your depth of knowledge in the development sector. You will have the opportunity to work with globally renowned humanitarian and development experts.
∎ Ultimately, your contributions will get the world to pay attention to southern-led approaches to unmaking inequality.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Fluency in spoken and written English and spoken Bangla
∎ Minimum two years of working experience in writing and editing-related positions
