Working Knowledge in
Windows & Linux system administration
RDBMS (MsSQL, MySQL)
Programming Languages (PHP, Java, HTML)
Network Topology, Layer 2 & Layer 3 Networks
NMS Systems
Basic knowledge in Ceph and TrueNAS storage management (added advantage).
Perl, Oracle, Python (added advantage)
Hands-on experience working with storage systems and advanced cloud platforms (added advantage)
Responsibilities & Context:
1. Server & Cloud Management
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Radius, Log, and DNS servers.
Basic configuration and maintenance of OpenStack cloud platforms.
Virtualization system management (KVM/XenServer/Container).
Windows and Linux server administration (basic).
2. NMS System Management
Basic configuration and operation of NMS systems.
System configuration backup management and regular maintenance of existing NMS tools.
Monitoring system performance and generating reports.
3. Security Management
Supporting NMS and web application system security.
Assisting in server hardening and implementing access control policies.
4. Research & Development
Participating in R&D activities for upcoming systems and user requirements.
Assisting in testing new operating systems and DBMS tools.
Providing feedback for performance improvement and scalability.
5. Database Management & Backup
Basic knowledge of RDBMS (MsSQL, MySQL).
Supporting daily system backup and recovery processes.
Assisting in database maintenance under senior guidance.
6. Reporting & Documentation
Preparing regular work reports.
Documenting system changes, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
