Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Chemistry
∎ Honor's and Master's in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/ Biochemistry/Environmental Science from any reputed University.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To address all environmental issues of the factory including ETP management
∎ To create environment friendly work arrangement
∎ Good communication skills with buyers and chemical suppliers for communicating about chemical MRSL, RSL, Green screen certificates etc.
∎ Regular updates the chemical inventory with all necessary points like CAS no, hazard identification pictogram, MRSL/RSL etc.
∎ He should perform regular onsite inspections in chemical store, sub store, chemical kitchen to ensure all works is going under compliances.
∎ He should work closely with Admin and compliance department regarding environmental, health and safety, waste management, air and noise management, hazardous substance management etc.
∎ He should perform training need analysis for the facility and arrange appropriate environment and chemical safety training for fruitful results
∎ To Maintain related documents and certifications
∎ To manage hazardous chemical waste program including receipt, classification, storage & disposal in compliance with all applicable regulations
∎ To create awareness on chemicals related issues amongst the personnel involved in chemical handling.
∎ To conduct training on chemical handling & environmental awareness amongst the workers
∎ To co-operate with Technical manager by solving the buyer wise technical demands.
∎ Should have to be adequate knowledge about Higg, ZDHC, OCS/GOTS.
