Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate in Environmental Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Master in Environmental Science from any reputed University
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure chemical compliance of the internal activities according to the chemical code of practice.
∎ Analyze MSDS with CAS#, GHS pictogram, cross-check CAS# in ZDHC MRSL and make sure that chemical and out of 11 priorities banned and restricted groups;
∎ Ensure proper chemical storage, labeling, secondary containment, and safe use.
∎ Ensure MSDS, labeling in chemical store, distribution sub-store, dyeing, printing, ETP and all relevant applicable area;
∎ Knowledge about environment health & safety management.
∎ To set Higg Index, BEPI, ISO 14001-2015 (EMS), Detox, Bhive, clean-chain & others environmental issues.
∎ To implement EMS, EIA, EMP, CMP (Chemical Management Plan).
∎ To conduct energy audit and energy management plan.
∎ Analyze waste water treatment report result from factories and ensure quality from the report as per factory compliance.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the environmental parameters as per DOE Standards & ECR-1997 & Buyer COC. To Ensure Corrective Action Plan if any kinds of NC Occurred. Ensure environmental health and safety requirements (chemicals).
∎ Monitor ETP Performance and liaison with the Department of Environment (DOE) on a regular basis to update Environment Clearance of Factories. Execute the operational system/process for ETP.
∎ Conduct Internal environmental Audit as per Code of Conduct to meet compliance and identify improvement area accordingly on regular basis against the NC and follow up the same with line managers of all departments to ensure that the expected compliance
∎ Any other task assign by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Must have minimum 3 years of experience in similar position in garments factory having Washing facility with ETP.
∎ Must be conversant with ETP operation & maintenance.
∎ Must have direct experience in Environmental Management Planning (EMP) and Environmental Management System (EMS).
∎ Have to liaison with external & internal affairs (DoE, Buyers, etc)
∎ Must have experience with ZDHC and Recycle Plant, 3R.
∎ Must have practical experience on working with Higg Index (Higg Facility Environment Module).
∎ Must have fluency in English (Speaking and writing)
∎ Should have a passion for the environment, water saving, etc.
