The Divisional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales performance, developing strategic sales plans, managing sales teams, and expanding market presence within an assigned division or territory. Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Target Achievement
Develop, implement, and execute divisional sales plans to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Forecast sales and set performance objectives based on market trends and company goals.
Monitor competitor activities, product pricing, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team (e.g., Sales Officers, Territory Sales Officers, Area Sales Executives) to drive performance and achieve targets.
Assign sales targets, provide training, and support performance improvement.
Conduct regular meetings, performance reviews, and strategic planning sessions with the team.
Distributor & Channel Management
Establish and manage distributor and dealer networks, ensuring broad market coverage and product availability.
Strengthen relationships with key distributors, retailers, and other partners to support market expansion.
Ensure effective execution of trade marketing and promotional activities at the field level.
Market Development & Expansion
Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies for growth and market share expansion.
