Qualifications:

Product development, sourcing, and vendor management skills·

Strong capabilities in market analysis, trend forecasting, and strategic planning  

· Experience and skills in communication, negotiation, and relationship management  

· Understanding of quality control, Supply Chain Management, and inventory management

· Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and data analysis for planning purposes.  

· Master's/Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Business, or a relevant field.  

· Proven experience in merchandising, preferably in the apparel or textile industry.  

· Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.  

· Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.  

· Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role in the textile or garment industry.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Deputy Manager, Merchandiser, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The role involves overseeing and managing merchandising operations, coordinating with buyers and production teams, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. The Deputy Manager, Merchandiser will work on product development, sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and monitoring production schedules to meet client expectations. Additional tasks include reviewing forecasts and market trends to contribute to strategic business planning.
