Responsibilities & Context:
Ø Examine and verify all types of bills and vouchers to ensure the accuracy of accounting records and compliance with established procedures.
Ø Conduct regular inventory audits of all outlets and the warehouse.
Ø Perform inventory analysis after audits by comparing stock-in and stock-out data of each store to identify discrepancies and irregularities.
Ø Review and verify inter-company transaction registers and ledgers.
Ø Perform pre-audit and post-audit of all accounting transactions, purchase requisitions, financial vouchers, and bills, including verification with system/software entries.
Ø Review daily cash deposits and bank transactions to ensure proper recording and authorization.
Ø Examine cash books, bank books, general ledgers, and various statutory and operational registers.
Ø Support team objectives by contributing to related audit and finance tasks as required.
Ø Conduct operational audits, investigations, process audits, and physical inventory counts.
Ø Prepare accurate audit reports aligned with audit objectives for submission to top management.
