Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation & Post-Graduation in Environmental Science/ Sustainability or Related Field
∎ Must have professional Certificate/Diploma on Sustainability/Environmental action
Experience Requirements:
∎ 12 to 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing the overall direction of a company's sustainability efforts, including setting goals and measuring progress
∎ Creating plans for recycling materials within a company's facilities, including researching recycling methods and developing long-term strategies
∎ Developing and implementing new sustainability initiatives to meet goals set by the company's board of directors or an external regulatory agency
∎ Developing new products with sustainability in mind, including creating packaging that is biodegradable or recyclable
∎ Monitoring industry trends related to sustainability in order to identify future opportunities for growth or risk areas that may require mitigation efforts
∎ Coordinating with external stakeholders such as suppliers, contractors, and customers to ensure that they are aligned with the company's sustainability goals
∎ Reviewing environmental impact assessments conducted by other departments within the company to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
∎ Serving as an expert resource for journalists and other members of the news media about the latest developments in sustainability technology or practices
∎ Creating reports about the company's sustainability performance and sharing findings with stakeholders
∎ Assesses and analyzes company policies and processes to identify areas in and processes to which improvements can be made in accordance with the organizations commitment to sustainability.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 12-15 years in related field
∎ Applicants must have experience in the following areas: Sustainability, Compliance, Environmental management
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Superlative and creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
∎ Thorough and current knowledge of sustainability practices, and applicable laws and regulations.
∎ Ability to analyze and understand research and to identify relevant and valuable information.
∎ Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
∎ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
∎ Ability to create, interpret, and execute a budget.
∎ Presentation skills required to deliver proposals to varying groups of individuals.
Salary: Tk. 400000 (Monthly)
