Responsibilities & Context:

Responsibilities:

• Need to lead the sourcing activities of garments in BD office.

• Managing team, serving client and managing factory, production, operation and quality control.

• Need to boost operations by implementing strategies.

• Minimizing the rejections in the production process.

• Should decide to evaluate the manufacturers compiling the Production capability, ethical, safety and on technical requirements.

• Should coordinate with the Brand office and monitor the merchandising, Planning, Production and Technical, Sampling and Quality departments.

• Need to place the orders and monitor the execution of the merchandise with the concern of Brand office.

• Should inform brand office in advance if any unforeseen circumstances may arise to ship the goods on time.

• Need to enhance operational effectiveness by maximizing profit minimizing costs and eliminating wastage.

• Need to contribute in capital expenditure management, P&L oversight, waste reduction and process transformation.

• To capture and record the data on the performance of the manufacturers. Notify to the brand office and utilize the date for the future order placements.

• To ensure the Quality, Planning, Merchandising departments monitor the execution of the orders, conduct the Final inspections, and advise the Shipping details to brand office at appropriate time.

• Attending Seminars organized by customer on Product Safety, Man & Machine Management and Quality Issues
  
  Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree with excellent relation management skill.

  • Minimum 25 years of experience in Readymade Garments including 10 years of experience in managing factories, production and operation  and At least 5 years of experience as a leading role

  • The applicant should have experience in managing a business of over USD 50 million per annul and worked with International Major Brands .

  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication in English.

  • This position involves travel across the Asian region, including Vietnam, Cambodia, and India, with Dhaka as the base location
