Responsibilities & Context:
· Lead and manage end-to-end production.
Plan, organize, and control daily factory operations to achieve production targets.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines & materials for higher productivity.
Supervise and guide production managers, line chiefs, and supervisors to ensure discipline and accountability.
Monitor and analyze hourly, daily, and monthly production performance against plan.
Prepare production schedule in collaboration with Planning & Merchandising departments.
Ensure all pre-production activities (size set, PP meeting, sample approval, line layout) are properly completed before bulk production.
Follow up on SMV, manpower requirement, and line balancing as per IE bulletin.
Ensure product quality meets buyer AQL standards and implement corrective measures.
Maintain compliance with buyer-specific quality standards (e.g. Walmart, C&A, Aldi, NEXT, etc.).
Reduce wastage, improve efficiency, and implement cost control measures.
Maintain proper documentation (buyer-wise, style-wise, order-wise) and reporting to Management.
Ensure compliance, safety & housekeeping on the production floor.
Work closely with HR, Admin, and Compliance departments during audits.
Provide daily updates to Top Management (MD/Director) on production status and challenges.
Requirements
Education: B.Sc. in Textile Engineering / Bachelor/Master in relevant field.
Experience: Minimum 15 years in Jacket production with at least 5 years in senior production management (DGM level).
Age: Around 40 years (flexible for highly experienced candidates).
Strong knowledge in Woven Jacket production, SMV, consumption, and IE concepts.
Excellent leadership, planning, and floor management skills.
Ability to handle production pressure and ensure timely shipment.
Strong knowledge of compliance and buyer audit standards.
Good communication skills in English & Bangla.
Preference for candidates with Jacket production experience.
