Job Responsibilities:
∎ DGM Production is directly responsible for the organization production and oversight of all inventory, personnel, and procedures related to the preparation and movement of product throughout the bicycle manufacturing facilities. This individual sets the production schedule based on order demand to drive processes which ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. This position is responsible for overall management of all assembly facilities including but not limited to spare parts Inventory, e-commerce, and shipping & receiving which support the order fulfillment process.
∎ Essential Functions: Provide quality assembly and set up of bikes on a high-volume assembly line.
∎ Provide training assistance to new and current employees.
∎ Be the subject matter expert on bike assembly.
∎ Maintains a safe and clean workspace, leaving with a clean build area.
∎ Develop production schedule and manage resources required to ensure timely order fulfillment.
∎ Set production goals and establish procedures to exceed them.
∎ Establish workflow procedures to enhance speed and efficiency.
∎ Enforce quality control standards established by the Engineering department.
∎ Establish sub-departments/positions within the department to better manage demand and create efficiencies/opportunities within the department.
∎ Ensure all Health and Safety protocols are established and met.
∎ Determine staffing levels and conduct all hiring / development of warehouse personnel.
∎ Evaluate employee performance and make recommendations to management regarding promotions and compensations.
∎ Procure and maintain all supplies and equipment.
∎ Liaise with other department managers to implement company objectives.
∎ Understand technical drawings of bicycles and spare parts.
∎ Review prepare sample bike BOM and costing as per specification.
∎ Ensure mass production design and secs are as per final submission.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ In-depth experience frame, fork, wheel, rim both steel and alloy manufacturing.
∎ In depth experience in powder coating and oil paint.
∎ Data analysis skills, experience with Excel. Comfortable learning and adapting to new concepts and using new tools.
∎ Knowledge of budgeting concepts and their application to a department.
∎ Microsoft Office Suite, ERP and Production software knowledge.
∎ Exposure to warehousing, supply chain and logistics.
