Responsibilities & Context:

1.    Craft, Develop, Lead, and Execute Purchasing & Negotiation Strategies·       

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies that align with the company`s goals.
  • Lead negotiations to secure advantageous terms and pricing.

2 Track and Report Metrics to Reduce Expenses and Improve Effectiveness·

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve procurement performance.
  • Regularly report on cost savings, supplier performance, and other relevant metrics.

3. Partner with Stakeholders to Forecast Price and Market Trends· 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and anticipate market changes.
  • Use market intelligence to forecast price trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.

4. Determine Quantity and Timing of Deliveries

  • Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Optimize inventory levels to meet production and sales needs without overstocking.

5. Monitor and Forecast Upcoming Levels of Demand· 

  • Analyze demand patterns and adjust procurement plans to meet future needs.·
  • Implement demand forecasting models to predict future requirements.

6. Team Management·       

  • Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team.·
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

7.  Import Management·       

  • Oversee the importation process, ensuring compliance with regulations and cost-effective logistics.
  • Manage relationships with international suppliers and freight forwarders.

8.   Checking the Quality of Service Provided· 

  • Ensure suppliers meet quality standards and service levels.·
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and audits of suppliers.

9. Producing Reports and Statistics Using Computer Software·  

  • Utilize procurement software to generate reports and analyze data.

Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis

10. Forecasting Levels of Demand for Services and Products to Meet Business Needs

  • Implement accurate demand forecasting techniques.
  • Ensure procurement plans align with business objectives.

11. Keeping a Constant Check on Stock Levels·   

  •  Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory management best practices.
  • Prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.

12. Build Healthy Relationships with New and Existing Customers·

  • Develop strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Foster Long-term partnerships based on trust and mutual benefit

13. Responsible for Managing Import Vendors and Materials ·  

  • Ensure efficient management of import vendors and materials.
  • Address any issues related to import processes and documentation.
