Job Responsibilities:
∎ Issue purchase order on the basis of schedule production and procurement the same having quality at reasonable prices from the approved suppliers
∎ Reviewing technical specifications for raw materials, components, equipment
∎ Forecasting upcoming demand and take necessary strategy to meet up the demand
∎ Co-ordination with the production department for material planning and communicating with suppliers
∎ Maintain and follow-up full compliance with all regulatory aspects to confirm hassle free sourcing
∎ Development of overseas procurement procedure to maximize productivity in respect of international resourcing and procurement activities
∎ Supervise thorough & efficient negotiating and contracting with support C& F and transport agent
∎ Keeping proper identification and tractability of incoming materials received from suppliers
∎ Developing new suppliers to meet the quality and supplier criteria of the company
∎ Prepare monthly report on element wise cost incurred against each consignment clearance conducted
∎ Manage client relationships, identifying opportunities for new contracts
∎ Periodical verification of consumable materials
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Ensure zero demurrage in sourcing Jamuna Group product categories.
∎ Keep import cost align with expense target.
∎ Ensure LC management & related tasks in time with optimum efficiency.
∎ Ensure effective correspondence with support agencies.
∎ Ensure consignment clearance in due time after retirement of documents.
