Additional Requirements:
  • Proven track record with more than 25 years of progressive experience in coating plant operations within paperboard or paper manufacturing, including at least 8 years in senior management roles.

  • Strong expertise in coating technologies and coating chemistry to ensure optimal product quality.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence, cost control, and resource optimization.

  • In-depth knowledge of quality standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols relevant to coating paper production.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the flexibility to manage shift operations and maintain on-floor presence.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead coating plant operations to ensure delivery of high-quality coated paper products meeting stringent standards.

  • Develop and implement advanced QC methodologies to minimize defects and maximize product performance.

  • Oversee application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools to monitor quality and drive continuous improvement.

  • Formulate and enforce Quality Control Plans (QCPs) to guarantee successful product launches and consistent output.

  • Direct internal and external audits to maintain compliance with ISO, FSC, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and maintenance teams to identify root causes and execute effective CAPA programs.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate product aesthetics.

  • Manage consumption of coating chemicals, energy, and water to optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.

  • Work closely with R&D to drive innovation in coating formulations aimed at improving durability and market competitiveness.

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and vendors to resolve quality and technical challenges swiftly.

  • Drive a culture of compliance with SOPs and operational excellence to uphold safety, quality, and responsibility.

  • Analyze production logs, QC data, and downtime reports to identify bottlenecks and lead process optimization efforts.
