Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Facilitate self and wage employment for skills training graduates in coordination with private sector actors, NGOs, and community networks.
∎ Build and maintain partnerships with market actors (e.g. SMEs, local contractors) to create viable livelihood pathways.
∎ Coordinate career counselling and post-training support (e.g., entrepreneurship, referrals for volunteer roles, apprenticeships).
∎ Supervise the mobilisation and engagement of institutional participants (volunteers already in jobs) for advanced training.
∎ Oversee the enrolment of graduates into production centres and support small-scale business setups.
∎ Submit need assessments, monthly updates, and completion reports to CiC offices across assigned camps.
∎ Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments for volunteers, labourers, utilities, and training participants.
∎ Lead recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and performance tracking of volunteers per project guidelines.
∎ Represent BRAC at camp-level meetings and coordination platforms, especially with CiC, UN agencies, and sectoral working groups.
∎ Conduct community consultations and ensure continuous feedback is incorporated into programme adaptation.
∎ Track employment outcomes, follow-up on placed graduates, and document case studies and impact stories.
∎ Coordinate with M&E team to ensure timely data collection on employment status, income generation, and market engagement.
∎ Assist with budget planning and financial tracking, ensuring efficient use of self/wage employment resources.
∎ Contribute to donor reports and programme reviews, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
