Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred in Agriculture, Animal Science, Fisheries, Agri mechanization or related field.
Two years of field experience in agriculture, livestock, poultry, aquaculture, Agri mechanization or enterprise development (preferred).
Experience in rural development, extension or market system approaches is an added advantage.

Major Responsibilities:
Support annual and quarterly planning for Agri Modern Village interventions.
Develop detailed micro-plans for development of the village scenario including intervention in crops, livestock, aquaculture, agri-mechanization, input support and livelihood diversification.
Prepare and manage branch/cluster-level budgets ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with BRAC financial guidelines and identify resource needs (inputs, equipment, training materials) and support procurement planning.
Lead and supervise the day-to-day implementation of agriculture, livestock, poultry, and aquaculture interventions.
Ensure quality, timely, and quantity-compliant delivery of inputs, technologies, training, and services to farmers.
Maintain strict adherence to climate-smart, safe, and sustainable production standards and monitor crop, livestock, poultry, and aquaculture performance and provide field-based technical guidance.
Provide training on business planning, record keeping, service quality, and market linkage.
Facilitate access to finance, technology, and private-sector networks and monitor enterprise performance to ensure sustainability and growth.
Promote and support primary processing, post-harvest handling, storage, grading, and packaging.
Facilitate business linkages with traders, processors, and market actors for improved price realization.
Document and promote local innovations in value addition and enterprise upgrading.
Coordinate with BRAC programme staff, local government (DAE, DLS, DoF), private partners, and institutions.
Ensure regular field reporting, data collection, MIS updates, and documentation of progress and challenges.
Conduct field assessments, beneficiary verification, and feasibility studies for new interventions and maintain compliance with programme standards, procurement rules, and safeguarding protocols.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of team members, beneficiaries, and community participants from any harm, abuse, or exploitation.
Promote safeguarding principles in all field activities and maintain strict adherence to BRAC’s safeguarding policy.
Report safeguarding concerns through the approved reporting channels and encourage others to do the same.
