Experience:
Educational Qualifications
Master’s degree focusing on agricultural science, agribusiness, business studies, marketing, rural development, or related field from any well-regarded university.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in implementing agriculture, rural development, or women empowerment projects within GO-NGOs, or the private sector.
Proven ability to prepare high-quality technical manuals, project progress reports, and case studies.
Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering training programs for farmers, field staff, and other stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices, value chain development, rural livelihoods, gender dynamics, women empowerment, and financial inclusion.
Experience in project planning, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E).
Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret field data and prepare clear analytical reports.
Good understanding of community-based approaches and participatory methods.
Additional Requirements
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Project Overview:
The inclusive business (IB) project of iFarmer- Breaking Barriers for Women in Agriculture, is funded by the Innovations Against Poverty (IAP) challenge fund of SNV Netherlands Development Organization, seeks to enhance agricultural productivity, strengthen farmers’ livelihoods, and promote sustainable farming practices. The project will support smallholder women farmers through capacity building, technical assistance, and digital solutions. Its proposed business model is designed to ensure that marginalized women farmers in Bangladesh gain access to formal financial services, receive quality agricultural inputs,benefit from tailored farming advice, and improve their access to markets. By actively engaging women in sustainable agricultural practices, the initiative aims to foster resilience and enable them to build a more secure and sustainable future.
Time period: 11 months (February 2026 to December 2026)
Job Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of field-level project activities in line with the approved work plan.
Facilitate farmer outreach, registration, and participation in project activities and digital platforms.
Assist in organizing farmer groups and community-level engagement activities.
Support awareness and orientation sessions on iFarmer’s services and project interventions.
Assist in organizing training sessions, demonstrations, and field events related to improved and climate-smart agricultural practices.
Coordinate with internal teams to link women farmers with financial services, agricultural inputs, and market access.
Support farmer engagement with iFarmer Centers and relevant service providers.
Assist in data collection, record-keeping, and submission of regular activity and progress reports.
Support monitoring, documentation, and reporting requirements, including case studies and field evidence.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor farmer participation and project implementation progress.
Ensure proper documentation of training sessions, meetings, and project activities.
Perform other field implementation tasks as assigned by project supervisors.
