Experience:
Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline (ACCA/CA level 1 preferred).

Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline (ACCA/CA level 1 preferred).
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project accounting, preferably in donor-funded or development projects.
Prior experience working with international donors will be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management.
Familiarity with donor compliance, audit requirements, and financial controls.
Advanced skills in MS Excel and Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, QuickBooks, or similar).
Understanding of procurement procedures, VAT, tax, and statutory compliance.
Additional Requirements
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Willingness to travel frequently to field locations as required.

Project: Breaking Barriers for Women in Agriculture, SNV-IAP
Time period: 11 months (February 2026 to December 2026)
Project Overview:
The inclusive business (IB) project of iFarmer- Breaking Barriers for Women in Agriculture, is funded by the Innovations Against Poverty (IAP) challenge fund of SNV Netherlands Development Organization, seeks to enhance agricultural productivity, strengthen farmers’ livelihoods, and promote sustainable farming practices. The project will support smallholder women farmers through capacity building, technical assistance, and digital solutions. Its proposed business model is designed to ensure that marginalized women farmers in Bangladesh gain access to formal financial services, receive quality agricultural inputs,benefit from tailored farming advice, and improve their access to markets. By actively engaging women in sustainable agricultural practices, the initiative aims to foster resilience and enable them to build a more secure and sustainable future.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain project financial records in compliance with iFarmer policies and SNV guidelines.
Support day-to-day financial operations, including payments, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
Assist in monitoring project budgets, expenditure utilization, and financial performance.
Prepare periodic financial reports and internal reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, audit standards, and statutory obligations.
Coordinate with internal finance, P&C, and project teams on financial processes and documentation.
Support procurement-related financial reviews and payment processing.
Assist in audit preparation and respond to financial queries as required.
Maintain accurate documentation and filing of project financial records.
Contribute to project financial closure and final reporting activities.
