Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Agriculture, Animal Science, Fisheries, Agri mechanization or related field.
1 year experience in agricultural, livestock, poultry, aquaculture interventions, rural development, enterprise support, agri-mechanization or village -level project implementation experience is preferred.
This position is open for Bangladeshi nationals only.
Selected candidates will have to go through reference and background checking processes, which may include police verification.
Major Responsibilities:
Implement field-level project interventions according to work plans, technical guidelines, and organizational standards.
Support planning and execution of crop, livestock, poultry, and fisheries activities, including demos, agri-mechanization, Artificial Insemination (AI) vaccination camps, feed preparation and pond management.
Facilitate agri-entrepreneurship services, machinery rentals, input supply, and value-addition activities at community level.
Monitor quality, quantity, and timely delivery of all interventions and help resolve field-level operational challenges.
Collect accurate field data for monitoring, reporting, and evaluation.
Assist in preparing field reports, documenting lessons learned, and providing inputs to the Field Coordinator.
Liaise with farmers, community leaders, and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and high adoption of project activities.
Ensure adherence to environmental safeguards, biosecurity, and sustainable agriculture practices.
Maintain regular communication with the Field Coordinator and technical specialists for guidance and support.
Promote community awareness, engagement, and participation in all project initiatives.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure safety and protection of staff, beneficiaries, and partners, upholding BRAC’s safeguarding standards.
Promote and enforce safeguarding procedures, encourage reporting of any concerns, and support capacity-building on safeguarding requirements.
Report safeguarding concerns through the approved reporting channels and encourage others to do the same.
