Technical writing in health and report writing Strong writing skills in both English and Bengali
Statistical data analysis and data compilation

Understanding of business development and grants management procedures
Knowledge of national and global health sectors
Familiarity with public health research and its structure
Capacity to work independently with minimum guidance
Supportive attitude toward staff capacity strengthening
Proficiency in MS Office

Job Purpose
This contractual position is responsible for developing high-quality proposals and concept notes, engaging donors and partners, ensuring grant compliance, and integrating lessons from ongoing projects to strengthen future designs. The role also supports programme improvements, financial and narrative reporting, MoUs, procurement, and compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Explore fundraising opportunities, regularly monitor donor websites and identify and inform donor opportunities matching relevant with BRAC Health Programme (BHP)
- Support the end-to-end proposal development process: concept notes, technical and financial proposals, theories of change, frameworks, workplans, and budgets. Additionally, create and manage a database for BHP donors and projects.
- Coordinate with other relevant departments of BRAC such as finance, GRP, HRD, procurement and others during proposal writing and budget preparation to ensure timely submission and strategic positioning of proposals.
- Develop and maintain database for programmatic knowledge pieces, one pagers and reports
- Assist in developing and negotiating contract/ MoU terms with donors on behalf of the programne
- Conduct due diligence procedures, maintain a pipeline, and regularly update it with information
- Undertake regular field visits to gather experiences from the ground level to provide practical inputs in the proposal and budget and recommend necessary changes for aligning with the donor requirements
- Maintain relationships with existing donors and respond to their requests regularly and keep updating them about the work of the organization
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
