Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Psychology (applied psychology background is highly desirable) with at least one year experience in relevant field.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 1: Excellent written, public communication and negotiation skill, knowledge of English and local languages
∎ Provide support, supervise and evaluate the work of the supervisors and assistant project officers through weekly supervision meetings.
∎ Analyse and approve the report of the supervisees.
∎ Analyze the relevance of the activities.
∎ Assist in recruiting and training the psychosocial team set up and assure a coherent training curriculum with the close supervision in field.
∎ Ensure logistic and human resource aspects of the program.
∎ Contribute in defining new intervention modalities according to the context and evaluation of the project.
∎ Objective 2: Assist team in data analyses in terms of psychological vulnerability as well as supervise the team on case management
∎ Provide technical support to the team members based on the beneficiary’s need.
∎ Ensure constant monitoring of the mental health program activities (includes staff performance, project data collection and analysis) in the working location.
∎ Supervise and evaluate the impact of the activities delegated by the Programme Manager
∎ Manage monitoring and evaluation systems for the mental health component and come up with a database of beneficiaries (ease of use of technology is expected).
∎ Organize assessments and evaluations in need.
∎ Provide regular supervision to the team in regard of planning and managing the cases.
∎ Objective 3: Participate in internal/external coordination and ensure timely reporting on program activities:
∎ Coordinate with different department and stakeholders.
∎ Participate in different coordination meeting, both internal and external.
∎ Report on a weekly basis about activities planned and implemented.
∎ Ensure the monthly report (statistical and narrative) from field on time.
∎ Analyse and report on beneficiaries’ psychosocial and care practices status.
∎ Ensure a daily quantitative and qualitative reporting through the tools (assessment form, follow up form, group activity reporting tool, discharge form which includes the final assessment of the beneficiary’s psychosocial status) and system in place.
∎ Any other reports to be made upon line manager’s request.
∎ Formal and informal meeting with the team, participate to a qualitative analysis of the different kinds of issues, at individual, family and community level.
∎ Drafting of monthly Activity Progress Report (APR)
∎ Objective 4: Implement and supervise part of the mental health programme activities:
∎ Conduct individual clinical interview when necessary and as part of on-the-job training of APO/PO and SPO.
∎ Conduct group discussions with the beneficiaries as part of on-the-job training of APO/PO and SPO.
∎ Supervise and evaluate the impact of the activities delegated by the Programme Manager.
∎ Contribute and respect of logistics and administrative procedures.
∎ Evaluate the level of skills of the supervisor and their technical training needs.
∎ Organize and provide training.
∎ Objective 5: Develop work in multidisciplinary teams:
∎ Work in close collaboration with the medical, nutrition, food security and water and sanitation departments.
∎ Exchange information concerning the projects.
∎ Participate in weekly meeting with other MHCP supervisors to address common issues; discuss and agree on action plans for specific cases.
∎ Objective 6: Respect a strict confidentiality
∎ Assist in research on MHCP and strictly respect the confidentiality of data, being the property of the project’s beneficiaries and ACF.
∎ Respect confidentiality regarding the content of clinical interviews, except when exchanging information with other team members to draw joint action plans for the best interest of the beneficiaries.
∎ Objective 7 : Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary;
∎ Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries;
∎ Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities;
∎ Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees;
∎ Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.

Salary: Tk. 93699 (Monthly)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 1 month Gross salary every year.
∎ Provident Fund - 7.5% of Basic Salary.
∎ Performance Bonus - from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year vary from performance.
∎ End of Contract Benefits - As per policy.
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year).
∎ Leaves:
∎ 18 days of paid annual leaves per year.
∎ 10 days of paid casual leaves per year.
∎ 14 days of paid sick leaves per year.
