Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Function as the in-charge of skill centers, ensuring upkeep, functionality, and maintenance of training infrastructure.
∎ Supervise Technical Trainers and Skills Center Volunteers, ensuring high-quality training facilitation.
∎ Develop training delivery plans, lesson outlines, session plans, job sheets, and observation checklists.
∎ Ensure availability and distribution of Competency Based Learning Materials (CBLMs, training aids, and tools across all training batches.
∎ Facilitate practical and theoretical training sessions in alignment with approved curriculum.
∎ Monitor training quality and learning outcomes through regular assessments and feedback loops.
∎ Lead the participant selection process and facilitate pre-training placement tests.
∎ Maintain accurate documentation of participant data, attendance, assessment records, and daily logs.
∎ Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly training reports and track training batch completion.
∎ Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
∎ Maintain close collaboration with protection actors, site management, and other stakeholders to receive referrals for training participants.
∎ Represent BRAC in relevant coordination meetings with CiCs, NGOs, and training sector partners.
∎ Recruit and manage volunteers, ensuring alignment with BRAC’s code of conduct and training center protocols.
∎ Facilitate stipend disbursements for participants, volunteers, and laborers.
∎ Promote gender-transformative and inclusive practices in all vocational training activities.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ The Deputy Manager, Training Coordination will be responsible for managing, supervising, and supporting the delivery of center-based vocational skills training in both Rohingya camps and host communities. The role will ensure the quality and effectiveness of training activities by coordinating technical trainers, maintaining training infrastructure, supporting participant engagement, and ensuring compliance with training standards. This position will also contribute to strategic planning, implementation, and reporting under the project’s Livelihood and Skills Development component.
