Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Deputy Manager / Manager – Air Freight with strong expertise in handling USA and Europe-bound shipments. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of international air freight operations, carrier management, customer handling, and compliance requirements specially for the US and European markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee end-to-end air freight operations, especially for USA & Europe shipments

• Communication with Shipper, Local & overseas buying office, Consignee, Air carrier, Destination custom broker.

• Handle shipments from start to end independently.

• Involvement with Ocean Freight dept. for handling of Sea-Air shipments.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with airlines, agents, and overseas partners & support business development initiatives to strengthen air freight business growth.

• Negotiate competitive freight rates and service agreements with airlines.

• Monitor shipment status, transit performance, and resolve operational issues promptly.

• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company SOPs.

• Coordinate with warehouse and operation team for smooth shipment execution.

• Handle customer queries, claims, and service recovery efficiently.

• Prepare operational reports, performance analysis, and market updates.
