Job Description of CSO:
1. Patient Service Responsibilities:
Greet patients politely at the reception and verify their appointments or guide walk-ins.
Assist patients with registration, test information, pricing, payment, and report delivery procedures.
Educate patients about test preparation requirements (e.g., fasting, specimen collection timing).
Coordinate queue management, minimize wait times, and handle patient complaints empathetically.
Ensure clear communication regarding test results delivery time, sample collection procedures, and consultation schedules.
Escort elderly, disabled, or confused patients when necessary.
Ensure confidentiality and dignity of every patient.
2. Doctor Service Responsibilities:
Coordinate with consulting doctors regarding their schedule, patient list, and any changes.
Provide support to doctors regarding patient reports, availability of test results, and pending investigations.
Update doctors promptly if delays occur in patient flow, report generation, or technical issues.
Maintain smooth liaison between doctors and technical/lab departments.
Provide doctors with proper environment for consultation and promptly address any logistic or support needs.
Handle referral forms and ensure patients are guided to the correct departments as prescribed.
3. Communication & Coordination:
Maintain polite and professional telephone, WhatsApp, or email communication with patients and doctors.
Inform patients of any changes in their schedule or delays.
Coordinate with lab technicians, radiologists, and front desk team for patient flow and report delivery.
4. Recordkeeping & Documentation:
Accurately enter patient data.
Maintain updated appointment logs, doctor schedules, and follow-up calls or report dispatch logs.
Report service issues, escalations, or patient feedback to supervisors.
5. Support & Emergency Handling:
Stay calm and organized in handling urgent or emergency service requests.
Know the escalation process in case of technical failure, system delays, or service breakdown.
Any other responsibilities given by management
Duty Hour: 10AM to 10PM (12 hourly) 6 days in a week
