∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead Skills Development Programme's (SDP) project proposal and innovate project design development processes including conceptualizing, designing, writing and editing funding proposals.
∎ Support Programme Manager to lead conversations with potential partners for various fundraising opportunities.
∎ Track fundraising streams including Government of Bangladesh, multilateral donors, bilateral donors, private sectors, and foundations.
∎ Ensure existing donors and partners are sufficiently informed to maintain/ strengthen relationships and partners receive regular programme updates/ news (letters).
∎ Participate in internal and external events to network with potential partners and donors, represent BRAC and SDP at various internal and external forums, meetings and workshops and ensure regular conversation with existing partners and BRAC programmes.
∎ Identify opportunities for improved collaboration and system improvement supporting better project development, proposal development, and grants management. This includes self-reflection, soliciting feedback on SDP, and conducting after action reviews.
∎ Ensure projects designs are up-to-date with changing development landscape, and account for important factors like inclusion and safeguarding.
∎ Support SDP teams in project reporting to different donors, as required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong writing, problem solving and analytical skills.
∎ Knowledge of workshop and meeting facilitation.
∎ Should think strategically and understand clients' needs and concerns.
∎ Should be able to respond promptly and effectively to client needs and customize services and products as appropriate.
∎ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Bangla.
∎ Minimum 02 years' of work experience, preferably in developing proposals and reports for development and/ or humanitarian programmes. Candidates having more than 01 year of experience in research and knowledge management functions will get preference.
