- Strong understanding of textile finishing processes, including dyeing, bleaching, printing, and coating.
Responsibilities & Context:
Ensuring smooth and efficient finishing operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management.
Implementing and maintaining quality standards, monitoring fabric test results (e.g., shrinkage, fastness), and addressing quality issues.
Identifying areas for improvement in finishing processes, implementing new technologies, and optimizing machine parameters.
Leading, motivating, and training finishing department staff, including supervisors and operators.
Managing the inventory of finishing chemicals and softeners, ensuring optimal usage and minimizing waste.
Controlling costs associated with finishing processes, including chemical consumption and energy usage.
Preparing production and quality reports, analyzing performance data, and identifying areas for improvement.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and buyer requirements.
Addressing and resolving issues related to finishing processes, equipment, or personnel. Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance fabric quality.
