∎ Position Summary: The Deputy Emergency Nutrition and Health Coordinator together with the Nutrition Coordinator is responsible for internal and external coordination to ensure smooth implementation of Action Against Hunger Nutrition and Health Activities in Cox`s Bazar host communities and refugee settlements. The Deputy Emergency Nutrition and Health Coordinator will provide support to the nutrition programme managers in the development, implementation and management of the Nutrition and Health activities as well as monitoring and evaluation of the project in collaboration with the Nutrition Expert.

The person will act as the key responsible for implementation of the Nutrition & Health program and for maintaining external coordination and liaison for the program with the support and direction of his/her supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Your Detailed Responsibilities in this position will be:
∎ Objective 1: Internal and External Coordination
∎ Activities: The Deputy Emergency Nutrition and Health Coordinator is responsible for:
∎ Represent Action Against Hunger in external coordination mechanisms- District Coordination- Nutrition Sector- Health sector and any other relevant coordination mechanism (external) in the absence of the Emergency health and nutrition coordinator or as deemed necessary by the Nut. Co.
∎ Coordination with international and local partners, as well as local implementing partners (external).
∎ Implementation of weekly Nutrition and Health Managers meeting in Cox's Bazar District (Internal).
∎ Coordination with other Action Against Hunger sectors to ensure smooth implementation of activities including integrated activities (internal).
∎ Objective 2: Contribute to the Development, implementation and management of Nutrition and Health Interventions in Cox's Bazar
∎ Activities: The Deputy Emergency Nutrition and Health Coordinator is responsible for:
∎ Provide inputs in development of Nutrition and Health strategy in Cox's Bazar.
∎ Execute Action Against Hunger Nutrition and Health strategy in collaboration with the nut. Expert.
∎ Support to Nutrition and Health Managers to develop project proposals; narrative, LFA, targets, budget, HR and PPP.
∎ Support Nutrition and Health Managers in monthly Activity Progress reports.
∎ Support Nutrition and Health Managers in donor and Nutrition Sector reporting.
∎ Ensure quality of Nutrition and Health activities in collaboration with Nutrition PMs and Nut. Expert.
∎ Ensure that Nutrition and Health interventions are implemented according to GoB guidelines, Action Against Hunger guidelines and procedures.
∎ Objective 3: Health and Nutrition Team management
∎ Activities: The Deputy Emergency Nutrition and Health Coordinator is responsible for:
∎ Management of his/her team (leadership, coordination, monitoring, motivation etc).
∎ Determine HR needs for the implementation of Nutrition and Health activities.
∎ Follow up on recruitment status and support Nutrition and Health managers in recruitment.
∎ Identify capacity-building needs of Nutrition and Health team and develop capacity-building plan in collaboration with Nutrition Expert and capacity building unit.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience:
∎ Experience working with emergency as well as medium to large scale development projects dealing with Health and Nutrition. At least 5 -8 years of professional experience at country level with 2-3 years prior experience in a similar or comparable position
∎ Skills:
∎ Strong experience in CMAM Programme setup.
∎ Experience of working with international and local partners.
∎ Highly developed Management, leadership, Communication and presentation skills.
∎ Excellent knowledge in project cycle management.
∎ Strong analytical skill and Team-building and training skills.
∎ Ability to work in partnership with local implementing partners, government and other international/national partners.
∎ Has a good knowledge of the context in the region.
∎ Language: Professional Written and spoken ENGLISH.
∎ Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Power Point Access and other statistical software
Salary:
∎ Gross monthly Salary BDT 1,31,000/
