Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Communication Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication or related subject. Masters’ degree preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Duty Station: Dhaka-Office of Registrar General for Birth and Death Registration, UN Agency and field missions to all over the country including at Cox’s Bazar.
∎ Contract Duration: 6 months (1 December 2022 to 31 May 2022)
∎ Contract Type: Contract with E-Zone
∎ Contract Start Date: 1st December 2022
∎ Reporting to: Technical Supervisor of this assignment -Child Protection Specialist, Child Protection Section.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 14 years
∎ Minimum of 7 years professional experience in ICT.
∎ Expertise in Software Development and database (SQL) management.
∎ Knowledge on BDRIS database.
∎ Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
∎ Database tuning and performance monitoring.
∎ Application tuning and performance monitoring.
∎ Setup and maintain DB related documentation and standards.
∎ Plan growth and changes (capacity planning).
∎ Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented programming, SOLID design principle.
∎ Excellent knowledge of relational databases, schema design, NoSQL, SQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL Server, ORACLE, Mongo DB, etc.
