Database Administrator (DBA), Database design, Database Engineer/ Database Programmer, Database management System

Job Responsibilities:
∎ We are looking for highly experienced Database Administrator, who has experience on Large scale Database Design
∎ Plan, design and implement various database high availability solutions for Public Service/Large Scale ERP/Banking Solution.
∎ Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
∎ Must have experience of Database Scalability
∎ Ensure all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures.
∎ Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity.
∎ Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards.
∎ Perform the capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases. The DBA works closely with System/Software Architect and Project Manger.
∎ Perform ongoing tuning of the database instances.
∎ Install new versions of the RDBMS and its tools and any other tools that access the database.
∎ Plan and implement backup and recovery of the database.
∎ Implement and enforce security for all of the Databases.
∎ Perform database re-organisations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum up-time of the database.
∎ Maintain standards to ensure that all application design and code is produced with proper integrity, security and performance.
∎ Provide technical support to application development teams. This is usually in the form of a help desk.
∎ Assist with impact analysis of any changes made to the database objects.
∎ Troubleshoot with problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools.
∎ Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views.
∎ Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data.
∎ Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.
