∎ Oracle DBA Certification is required.

∎ Education, Experience & Skills:
∎ B.Sc./M.Sc. in CSE/Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent and relevant engineering degree from reputed local or foreign university.
∎ Minimum 8+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA with hands-on experience on version 11g/12c/19c plus Oracle DBA Certification is required.
∎ Strong knowledge of Oracle architecture & internals including Container, RAC & Active Data Guard.
∎ Proficient in PL/SQL programming; experience with SQL tuning techniques is required.
∎ Familiarity with tools like RMAN for backup/recovery operations; knowledge of other tools such as Grid Control is advantageous.
∎ Understanding data modelling concepts along with hands-on experience using ER diagrams/tools is desirable.
∎ Hands on experience on high volume databases such as 5 to 10TB.
∎ Good understanding and competent knowledge of Linux & windows server operating system, storage, and network.
∎ Hands on experience on mission critical database maintenance works such as Index maintenance, Statistics maintenance, Data file maintenance, Database capacity plan, detecting database corrupt pages, Check Database Integrity, Error log review, Window Event log check, Cluster service maintenance etc.
∎ Extensive knowledge on performance improvement related features of databases such as indexing, partitioning, clustering etc.
∎ Knowledge on NoSQL database would be added advantage.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Perform installation/configuration, patching, troubleshooting, performance tracking/tuning, back-up/recovery, remote monitoring of Oracle/SQL Server.
∎ Optimize SQL queries for improved performance.
∎ Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive information and ensure Data security, integrity and availability.
∎ Implement automation to reduce manual administrative tasks through use of jobs, shell scripts, SQL, schedulers or other techniques.
∎ Analyze Impact of Database Changes to the Business needs.
∎ Creates and maintains complex ETL processes from multiple data sources.
∎ Ensure high availability (HA) and implement disaster recovery procedure (DR) and initiate database business continuity plan.
∎ Advise and supervise on database design, development and required Implementation.
∎ Collaborate with application developers to support their database needs during development cycles including code reviews related to SQL optimization.
∎ Identifies and resolves database problems in coordination with development, infrastructure and networks team.
∎ Diagnose problems and triage/resolve issues across various tiers (application, network, database, server on storage tiers).
∎ Regular database backup, health checkup and ensure database restore from backup.
∎ Provide technical support and guidance to users regarding issues related to database access or use.
∎ Job Context:
∎ The incumbent will work in a team managing production databases of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of Company’s databases. You will also be involved in the capacity planning and deployment of the database as well as troubleshooting any issues.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
