Job Responsibilities:
∎ Datacenter Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' existing datacenter environments to identify opportunities for improvement in areas such as efficiency, scalability, and security.
∎ Design and Planning: Collaborate with clients to design and plan datacenter architectures that align with their business objectives, taking into account redundancy, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
∎ Infrastructure Optimization: Analyze and optimize datacenter infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, and cooling systems, to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization.
∎ Virtualization and Cloud Integration: Evaluate and recommend virtualization and cloud integration strategies to enhance datacenter agility and cost-effectiveness.
∎ Security and Compliance: Assess datacenter security measures and recommend enhancements to ensure data protection and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
∎ Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of datacenter designs, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge transfer and support.
∎ Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with technology vendors to stay updated on the latest datacenter technologies and solutions.
∎ DC/DR: Should have proven knowledge about DC (Data Centre) & DR (Disaster Recovery) implementation.
∎ MZ/DMZ: Experience to work with MZ (Military Zone) and DMZ (Demilitarized Zone).
∎ Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert guidance throughout project lifecycles.
∎ Performance Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve datacenter performance issues.
∎ Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex datacenter-related technical issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Proven experience as a Datacenter Consultant or similar role, with a minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
∎ Deep expertise in datacenter technologies, including server hardware, storage, networking, and virtualization.
∎ Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and datacenter automation tools.
∎ Strong understanding of datacenter security best practices and compliance requirements.
∎ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
∎ Knowledge of Firewall administration, Network protocols
∎ Strong communication and client-facing skills.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware Certified Professional) are a plus.
