Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc in Computer Science/Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Computer Engineering
∎ Certifications like CEH, ECSA, RHCE, security product etc
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist departments to identify, define and confirm the key threats to information assets
∎ Assist team to identify system related vulnerabilities & threats (OS, Applications, DB & network) and following up with all the stakeholders to mitigate on-time
∎ Monitoring the operations and resolve any issues of security tools like IPS, SIEM which is in total more than 20 individual components
∎ Provide L2 support during any incident and work as an incident manager and identify the root cause and mitigate accordingly
∎ Ensure uptime of the security tools and proper alerting is in place for critical security nodes and stay available 24x7 in order to respond to the calls from NOC team
∎ Support team by monitoring security environment events, logs and reports; identifying security gaps & threats; evaluating and implementing enhancements
∎ Participate on technology Security project planning aligning with the requirement of business to achieve and ensure secure operational platform
∎ Close the action items for internal (all opcos, HQ) & external stakeholders
∎ Facilitate and perform schedule technical auditing (external and internal VAPT) of IT services & Application nodes to identify the security gaps and analyze the remediation
∎ Participate in implementation of security awareness procedures and ensures communication to build security awareness across the company
Additional Requirements:
∎ BSc in Computer Science / Electrical & Electronics Engineering /Computer Engineering
∎ Certifications like CEH, ECSA, RHCE, security product certifications
∎ 8-10 years' experience with 6-8 years of relevant experience
∎ Required Capabilities
∎ - Sound knowledge of cyber vulnerability, threat intelligence, and its different mitigation strategies
∎ Knowledge and experience of vulnerability and penetration testing
∎ Knowledge and experience of threat hunting using related scripting and tools
∎ Knowledge of telecom Network and Security systems will be added advantage
∎ Knowledge on AD, Linux/Unix/Windows OS
∎ Practical knowledge in DNS, exchange, Database
∎ Hands on knowledge on common security tools not limited to SIEM, PAM
