Job Context:
∎ To support and provide the UK team with information to cost garments competitively and accurately. We`re Looking for an experienced candidate for the position of Costing Manager who has excellent knowledge on Costing, Production, and wash to lead a team with Strong Analytical Skill, Reporting Skill and can take the challenges to ensure on time shipment with perfect quality and quantity.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create and maintain a costing matrix by factory
∎ Spot check order wise Profit & Loss Analysis or when requested.
∎ Review and analyse rating vs consumption given by factories
∎ Cost control of the company, check and verify all kinds of bill, voucher for ensuring the accuracy transference of accounting transaction.
∎ Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
∎ Conduct regular Market survey for price verification of various items including accessories items, materials, CM values and prepare reports.
∎ Directly spot check prices with the supplier of the trim to validate factory prices.
∎ Manage regular (bi-annual) product tenders and provide in depth report on costs
∎ Support the UK sales team in regards to pro active costing strategies to allow competitive costing in the UK
∎ Support the UK finance team in regards to providing accurate and up to date costing information
∎ Support wider merchandising team with ad hoc information checks provided by the Factory Merchandiser.
∎ Strong Analytical Skill and Reporting.
∎ Improve Overseas Merchandising Teams to maximize order placement opportunities.
∎ Ability to work with higher management.
∎ Set up marketing mind in the Merchandising to give better service to Sales team.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on all types of Fabric, Garments, Accessories, Print, Embroidery, Washing, and Other Applications.
∎ Should have a clear concept of price quotation for products.
∎ Should have knowledge to work with factory on CM/CMW basic.
∎ Acts as the situational leader of the merchandising team when evaluating, analyzing, and choosing the suitable suppliers that will give quotes, when getting quotes, when negotiating prices, when placing orders, when giving sample production approval, and when solving the problems experienced in order to source products with the target profit margin, on the target deadline and at the target quality.
∎ Good communication skills with team members & Suppliers dealing ability to work under pressure good time management & good interpersonal relationship.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum of 4 years of garment industry experience
∎ 2 years of finance or costing related experience.
∎ Production management experience and working with manufacturers.
∎ Proactive task management and good attention to detail.
∎ Excellent English written and spoken communication skills.
∎ Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package and general IT skills.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ Costing, Merchandising, Production.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ Buying House, Garments (Prefer foreign company)
∎ Having Textile or Fashion design background will be added as additional experience.
∎ Must have the wash knowledge on denim garments and fabric inspection process and procedure.
