Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor's degree in BBA/ Economics/ Mass Communications/ Development Studies/ English from any UGC-approved university
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare both short-term and long-term CR and PR strategy of Banglalink
∎ Develop and implement the sustainability policies and programs in alignment with company objectives, and apply methods to track the program and manage it responsibly
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives that have a material impact on the CR/ sustainability effort.
∎ Collaborate with internal teams to design joint programs and communications plans to build and enhance corporate reputation
∎ Prepare an appropriate contract/ partner management tool to ensure that partners are adhering to the rules and regulations of Banglalink
∎ Work closely with the local compliance team to support them in social investment/ charitable contribution-related documentation and reporting
∎ Maintain relationships with associates, professional peer groups, different media houses, and other relevant stakeholders
∎ Manage and leverage online communication tools, including website and social media channels, to communicate our messages and point of view to larger communities/ audiences
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3-5 years experience in Corporate Responsibility/ sustainability /and/or media/ PR, communications/Development sectors
∎ Required Knowledge & Skills
∎ Advance knowledge in handling activities related to CR/ sustainability in a reputed organization.
∎ Advance understanding of the local and global sustainability landscape, knowledge about local competitors', best practices, and knowledge of the roles of private, nonprofit, and public sectors.
∎ Expertise and knowledge on SDGs focusing on digital literacy and education, startup ecosystem, women empowerment, health, environment, community engagement,
∎ Knowledge of ESG (Environmental, social, and corporate governance) strategy
∎ Strong communications (writing and verbal) skills, including storytelling, public speaking, meeting facilitation, and presentations.
