Job Responsibilities:
∎ Regular activities to safeguard Network:
∎ To ensure Data service high availability by following effective execution of scheduled tasks are done on regular basis of PS elements:
∎ -Health check
∎ -Specific performance check
∎ -Preventive maintenance activities
∎ Reactive activities on emergency:
∎ Ensure Network high availability by following below task in case of any emergency:
∎ -Incident verification and notify line manager
∎ -Plan and Execute by involving Engineers & vendors.
∎ -To take preemptive measures so that the problem does not occur in future.
∎ - To Monitor and Optimize PS Core KPI & Benchmark report
∎ To issue related Work Orders and follow Change Management process. To ensure line manager approval before carrying out any maintenance activities.
∎ Perform activities on test bed to ensure successful execution on live platform.
∎ Pre & post checks before/after executing work orders.
∎ To review project plan before rollouts & provide feedback considering the business need and operational efficiency.
∎ To ensure existing services are not impacted during rollout.
∎ Ensure proper installation of equipment on site according to plan.
∎ Provide support in creation of all necessary databases to integrate the new node in the live system.
∎ Ensure the smooth operation by close monitoring of all system related alarms and KPI values.
∎ Communicate stakeholders to ensure resolution time as per SLA.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 years' extensive Operational working experience in PS Core Network Analysis, Configuration & Troubleshooting
∎ Expert Operational knowledge On PS Core Network including PS Core Nodes (SGSN / MME / GGSN / PGW / DNS / CG etc.)
∎ Sound knowledge on DPI System, IPDR, IIG & IP routing
∎ Deep understanding of various signaling protocols including Diameter, SIP etc.; good understanding of PS call flows.
∎ Experience in interacting of 3rd party technical vendors.
∎ Experience in working with External Service Provider like ISP, IIG, CDN - etc.
∎ Business insight and proactive learning capability
∎ Sharp Knowledge and positive approach towards challenges
∎ Good communication skill & Team player
∎ Telecommunication
