Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

Shishu Polli Plus (a project of The Sreepur Village, Bangladesh) is a humanitarian organization which is located in Sreepur of Gazipur District. We provide support of shelter, education, rehabilitation & livelihood training to the destitute mothers and children which helps them to re-settle in their community with a better financial and interpersonal skills. Now we are looking for qualified candidates for the position of Coordinator- Rehabilitation and Livelihood Development Department for smooth operation of admission, rehabilitation, training and release of beneficiary mothers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively solicit and collect referrals & networking/liaison with referral organization to admit more mothers and children at SPP.

  • Ensure targeted admission flow through networking with different stakeholders.

  • Arrange to visit new mothers in their communities and make recommendations for admission as per our criteria.

  • Continue all procedures of Admission & Observation period run up & help to set up them at SPP.

  • Preparing Plan for pre-discharge home visit & continue all assign work through visit (like as open bank account, liaison with school etc.)

  • Run BIMS software independently and have to keep record of all mothers & Children information and any kinds of related data to the BIMS software.

  • Oversee and assist the HWH (Half Way House) and CBS (Community Based Support) program effectively·       

  • Liaison/networking with local GO, NGO, others & linking our re-integrated beneficiaries to facilities in the community.

  • Planning, visiting and follow up post discharged beneficiaries as per procedure of the organization·       

  • Compile admission, release & post discharge visit information & preparing relevant report of beneficiary information (Admission, release, post discharge status etc.)

  • Surveying & gathering information about income based activities according to district.

  • Doing need based /emergency follow up and visits to beneficiaries·       

  • Assist team to set suitable IGA training plan that link with mother`s community resources & availabilities.

  • Conduct Universal and life skill training for beneficiary mothers and children.

  • Preparing yearly sectional budget and oversee expenditures flow.

  • Preparing sectional yearly activities plan and implement as appropriate.

  • Preparing proposal for small project/donor and implement donor based project activities and prepare periodical report.      

  • Preparing sectional annual and other periodical report including need based report as appropriate.

  • Input information on each family in to the shared notes and database.·        Assist to prepare monthly, quarterly and half yearly plan & report in BIMS Software.

  • Participate in monthly, quarterly & other meetings, training session (need based).

  • Keep beneficiaries status/register/file/documents updated in BIMS Software.

  • Lead and train all social workers as per necessity.

  • Check/approve bill vouchers and handle all the sectional financial issues.  

  • Responsible to motivate and bring out effective performance from all social workers.

  • Long-term Care Program: Guide, support and keep track of the young adults (children) whom we are the corporate parents. Help them to become independent and respond to their crisis as and when appropriate.

  • Dinajpur Project: Manage and monitor Dinajpur & other areas project to utilize its full capacity and strengthen the admission & re-integration process.

  • Database Management: Ensure APP/BMIS is regularly updated and utilized for a better reporting, analyzing and re-integration process.

  • Any other need based assign work by line manager or Management time to time.
