∎ সকল ধরনের বাংলা খাবার প্রস্তুতিতে দক্ষ থাকতে হবে।
∎ বাংলা খাবারের পাশাপাশি ইন্ডিয়ান, চাইনিজ, থাই ফুড ও ফাস্ট ফুড রান্নায় পারদর্শী হতে হবে।
∎ দীর্ঘমেয়াদী কাজ করার পরিকল্পনা থাকতে হবে।
∎ মেনু তৈরি করা ও স্বাদ তারতম্য ও পরিমান নিশ্চিত করার মান সম্পর্কে যথেষ্ট জ্ঞান।
∎ রান্নাঘরের স্টক মনিটর করতে হবে এবং চাহিদা মাফিক আগে থেকে জানাতে হবে।
