Job Responsibilities:
∎ Terms of Reference for Consultancy to Designing and developing PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT (PSS) Group Activity Manual of the project
∎ Reference No: 120/21-22
∎ Location of the assignment : Cox's Bazar, collaboration with Mukti Cox's Bazar MHPSS Unit
∎ Duration : 20 November to 30 November 2021
∎ Responsibility : UNFPA and Mukti Cox's Bazar MHPSS unit is responsible for overseeing the assignment along with the consultant and Consultant will submit directly to Mukti Cox's Bazar.
∎ Mukti Cox's Bazar (MCB) is a Bangladeshi non-governmental organization duly organized under the provisions of The Foreign Donations (Voluntary Activities) Regulation Act 2016 and The Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961 to ensure a peaceful universal society free from poverty and prejudice where people will live in dignity and security. Mukti Cox's Bazar and its partners/vendors have been committed to responding to the needs of the Rohingya and affected host communities in Cox's Bazar. In the framework of the Rohingya Humanitarian Crisis Response. MCB now invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from Individual Consultant for the following areas of work: Text alignment and Graphic Design of full PSS Activity manual including cover page.

MCB reserves the right to accept or reject any Expression of Interest without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Consultant.

∎ Objectives of the consultancy:
∎ The GBViE Project, Mukti Cox's Bazar offers a Psychosocial Support Group Activity Manual with 11 activities (1. Entertainment Busket, 2. Problem Solving Options, 3. Glow with Self-Confidence, 4. Debating Hour, 5. Explore Your Skills, 6. Role Play, 7. Story Telling Hour, 8. Working in a Team, 9. Making Decisions, 10. Game Time, 11. Recall Your Memories) that have been used for years in our WFS PSS sessions. We just updated that guidebook with the goal of improving and introducing some distinctive changes to all eleven group activities. Although the activities' titles remained the same, the methods and strategies used in these activities have been improvised.
∎ Scope of work and responsibilities:
∎ Responsibility and tasks of the Consultant
∎ • The consultant will formulate a comprehensive action plan for conducting this assignment.
∎ • Review of the relevant existing PSS manual.
∎ • Develop and share methodology. Before finalizing the design will have to be shared with Mukti Cox's Bazar.
∎ • UNFPA and Mukti Cox's Bazar feedback must have to be addressed within the deadline.
∎ • The consultant will develop and share the detail final report.
∎ Responsibilities of Mukti Cox's Bazar:
∎ Mukti Cox's Bazar will take responsibilities of following activities -
∎ • Will provide relevant documents related to PSS group manual.
∎ • Will create a team to assist consultant in leadership of Program Manager with technical support by MCB MHPSS unit.
∎ Key Deliverables:
∎ 1. Comprehensive work plan at the beginning of the task.
∎ 2. Final proof copies with AI file
∎ 3. Final report of the assessment and recommendation for next revision.
∎ Duration:
∎ The service period will be from 21 November to 30 November 2021.
∎ Required skill and experience of the consultant
∎ • 3 years working experience in development and or GBV programming.
∎ • Preferably he/she should have a broad understanding on PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT (PSS) support activities in Cox's Bazar context.
∎ • Expected to maintain a strong level and flow of communication with the project stakeholders for better designing of the project.
∎ • Sound background on graphics designing.
∎ • Should have previous successful record of accomplishment of doing similar task.
∎ Management of the assignment:
∎ Mukti Cox's Bazar is responsible to oversee the Assignment along with the Consultant will report directly to Mukti Cox's Bazar. Consultant will work closely with Mukti Cox's Bazar project team during the consultancy period keeping communication with Mukti Cox's Bazar Head office.
∎ Financial arrangement:
∎ The bidding amount for this assignment should be all-inclusive of VAT and TAX and will be deducted at source during settlement of invoice as per government rule. Please note that, the amount mentioned in the financial proposal will be assessed in line with the quality of the technical proposal.
∎ Commitment:
∎ Consultant is agreed that during this assignment period (21 November to 30 November, 2021) he/she will provide sincere support to Mukti Cox's Bazar as per requirement of the project. This consultant can be terminated by either party by giving 3 days' notice period in writing.

∎ The ownership of the Psychosocial Support Group Activity Manual belongs to the appointing agency. The document will not be shared with anybody except Mukti Cox's Bazar.
∎ Intellectual Property Rights:
∎ All documentation related to the Assignment shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Mukti Cox's Bazar.
