Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the community and its staff by being the point person for the community, leading team meetings, and managing the community's expenses;
∎ Ensure the community-level quality program implementation on time, achieves expected results as mentioned in the project log frame within the established budget, includes community participation, and has a successful handover plan for sustainability;
∎ Oversee the community implementation plan development, in coordination with the Manager- Area Program;
∎ Motivate and manage staff to maximize their direct and indirect impact on community participants' lives;
∎ Monitor and evaluate the progress of the community implementation plan and community finances and share barriers, challenges and provide suggestions for improvement with the Manager- Area Program;
∎ Organize and facilitate different kinds of participant training;
∎ Develop CBOs and establish a successfully registered organization;
∎ Actively participate in emergency relief and rehabilitation work whenever required by the organization;
∎ Maintain all documents sector-wise;
∎ Ensure compliance with all program-related policies and guidelines with special emphasis on financial and savings group policies;
∎ Overcome challenges and find solutions to the problems of the CDC, CBO, and saving groups;
∎ Participate in staff promotion and performance assessment when required;
∎ Follow up on all the implemented activities for ensuring sustainable development.
∎ Establish and maintain relationships with community stakeholders;
∎ Build the capacity of Community Development Committees (CDCs) and Community-based Organization (CBO) leaders by delivering training to build their capacity and knowledge, ensuring the sustainability of the project;
∎ Facilitate the communication between stakeholders and community leaders;
∎ Establish and maintain working relationships (network) with local government officials/offices, nearby organizations, and institutions to strengthen the community and strengthen FH Bangladesh's profile in the community.
∎ Facilitate and coordinate the training of community staff, ensuring the understanding of tools and curriculum;
∎ Develop community staff's performance by using approved staff performance review forms and provide ideas and solutions to improve their facilitation skills, understanding of program tools, curriculum, etc.;
∎ Mentor and empower staff to work efficiently, grow in their skills, and achieve their full potential;
∎ Conduct the program's required number of field visits to observe, encourage, and provide feedback to community staff and to share the gaps in community staff's ability, knowledge, or skills in implementation with the Manager- Area Program,
∎ Others as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years

∎ Excellent people skills including warmth and sensitivity, conversational, able to relate to and effectively communicate with people from different cultures (at various levels within the organization);

∎ Able to self-manage a diverse and dynamic set of responsibilities, proactively solve problems, and/or suggest viable solutions while advancing goals and objectives;
∎ Demonstrated computer operating skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Google platform, and virtual technologies such as Skype and/or GoToMeeting;
∎ Excellent organizational skills; ability to plan and coordinate work, and ensure the efficient flow of projects and processes;
∎ Strong people management skills / interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, teach, and mentor staff and volunteers;
∎ Comfortable and persuasive when speaking before both large and small groups;
∎ Ability to interact positively with all levels of the organization and across organizational and cultural boundaries.
∎ Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban communities with extreme conditions and limited medical support.
