Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Facilitate training exchange visit and follow up to Self-Help groups (SHGs)·
∎ Facilitate SHG meeting under the leadership of the SHG Chair.
∎ Home visit and coaching·
∎ Facilitate SHG PSRP (participatory Self Review and Planning) and document and follow up.
∎ Coordinate with project partners, Heifer office and others Stakeholders and follow up·
∎ Report and document at the SHG level, including group records.
∎ Facilitate new initiative in the SHG·
∎ Ensure the four basic qualities of a good SHG; group size, commitment to help themselves, group savings and inclusiveness of neighbors.
∎ Ensure Project implementation at the SHG level·
∎ Reinforce the Heifers cornerstone.
∎ SHG formation and strengthening.
∎ Assist in SHG savings and fund mobilization.
∎ Facilitate passing on the gift.
∎ Prepare progress report on project activities on regular basis and submit to project coordinator undertake any addition responsibility assigned by the project coordinator as and when required.
