Responsibilities & Context:

∎ Collect case stories per month during the project period to showcase the good practices, impact and success of the MAP Program and other LF supported projects. This includes interviewing beneficiaries and writing compelling impact stories
∎ Publish materials such as booklets, newsletters, and magazines for the MAP Program, and prepare social media posts to highlight project activities.
∎ Produce high-quality photo and video documentation and tailor these materials for various audiences.
∎ Regularly update and upload child case stories, good practices, and learning from the MAP Program to the CDD and implementing partners' websites.
∎ Support media engagement by writing press releases, pitching stories to the media, facilitating media visits, and monitoring media coverage.
∎ Assist with event management and provide logistical support for key project events, ensuring a high level of organization and visibility for activities and campaigns.
∎ Ensure all learning materials, case studies, and Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) materials are developed in an accessible format.
∎ Identify and update databases and media lists to enhance project visibility.
∎ Track media exposure and provide monthly reports on social media engagement metrics.
∎ Facilitate effective internal communications to support the MAP Program.

∎ CDD is accepting application for the position of ‘Communication Officer’ under a project named ‘The Meaningful Participation and Inclusion of Children and Youths with Disabilities in All Domains of CBR (MaPInCBR)’ to be implemented with the support of Liliane Foundation (LF). The duration of the project is till 31st December 2029. The selected candidate will initially be hired for a three-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, his/her employment contract will be renewed on an annual basis.
