Experience:

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Development Studies, Anthropology, Education, Community Development, or a related social science discipline.

• A Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or Diploma may be considered for candidates with strong relevant field experience, particularly in community mobilization or disability-inclusive programming

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Age At most 45 years

• Based in the project’s field locations with frequent travel to communities within the project area.

• Requires flexibility to work outside regular office hours, including weekends, in response to project needs.

• Must be comfortable working in rural, remote, and resource-constrained environments.

*** Job Responsibilities:

1. Implement project activities at field level:

• Facilitate community mobilization and beneficiary engagement in project activities.

• Organize and conduct training, awareness sessions, and workshops as per the project plan.

• Support the identification, enrollment, and follow-up of project participants, including persons with disabilities.

• Coordinate with local stakeholders to ensure smooth activity implementation.

2. Engage directly with beneficiaries:

• Maintain regular communication with beneficiaries to understand their needs, progress, and feedback.

• Provide ongoing guidance, motivation, and problem-solving support.

• Promote exclusivity and accessibility in all project-related activities.

3. Reporting and updates:

• Submit regular field progress reports to the MEAL Officer and Program Manager.

• Document success stories, lessons learned, and challenges encountered.

• Assist in data collection, surveys, and assessments as required.

4. Community and stakeholder coordination:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, community leaders, service providers, and other stakeholders.

• Represent CDD’s values and promote awareness of disability rights and inclusion in the community.

5. Compliance and safeguarding:

• Follow all CDD policies, procedures, and donor requirements.

• Ensure safeguarding principles are applied in all interactions with beneficiaries and stakeholders.

• Report any safeguarding concerns promptly in line with organizational policy.

6. Additional Responsibilities:

• Perform any other responsibility/ special duty delegated by project and CDD management.

• The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is a non-profit organization established in 1996 to develop a more inclusive society for persons with disabilities. CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.

• CDD is one of the most renowned organizations in the field of disability-inclusive development. CDD’s work in Bangladesh is supported by international and national donor agencies/development partners. CDD offers an inclusive, amicable, and respectable work environment.

• The Ramon Magsaysay Award (Asian version of the Noble prize) has been awarded to its former Executive Director in 2010. In 2018, CDD was recognized by the Government of Bangladesh as one of the best organizations working on disability and development issues.

• CDD is accepting application for the position of ‘Field Facilitator’ under a project named ‘Disability Inclusive Civic Engagement (DICE)’ to be implemented with the supported by the Nagorikata -Civic Engagement Fund (CEF). The duration of the project is till 30th June 2028. The selected candidate will initially be hired for a three-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, his/her employment contract will be renewed on an annual basis.
