Experience:

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• A Master’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, Public Health, International Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, or a closely related field.

• A Bachelor’s degree in the above disciplines may be considered if complemented by substantial and progressive professional experience in MEAL.

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Age At most 45 years

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in project MEAL sectors.

• Formal training or certification in Monitoring & Evaluation, Results-Based Management (RBM), MEAL, or Project Cycle Management (PCM).

• Academic or professional exposure to disability inclusion, social inclusion, governance, or humanitarian/development programming.

• Strong grounding in quantitative and qualitative research methods, data management, and analysis.

• Candidates with persons with disabilities will be given preference.

*** Job Responsibilities:

1. MEAL Framework Development and Implementation:

• Design and implement a comprehensive MEAL plan aligned with project objectives and donor requirements.

• Develop performance indicators, data collection tools, and reporting templates.

• Ensure integration of disability-inclusive and gender-sensitive indicators in all MEAL activities including Baseline, Mid-line and End-line evaluation.

2. Data Collection, Management, and Analysis:

• Oversee data collection processes in coordination with project staff and partners.

• Maintain an accurate and secure project database.

• Conduct data verification and quality checks.

• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.

3. Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare high-quality Project narrative reports and MEAL reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Contribute evidence-based inputs to donor reports and project reviews.

• Document best practices, lessons learned, and case studies for knowledge sharing.

4. Accountability to Stakeholders:

• Establish and manage feedback and complaints mechanisms.

• Ensure that beneficiaries, particularly persons with disabilities, are aware of their rights and the project’s accountability commitments.

• Track and respond to feedback in a timely manner.

5. Capacity Building and Technical Support:

• Provide training and coaching to project staff and partners on MEAL tools and processes.

• Support the team in integrating MEAL into daily implementation activities.

6. Learning and Adaptive Management:

• Facilitate learning sessions to review progress and adapt strategies based on evidence.

• Promote a culture of reflection and continuous improvement within the project team.

7. Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Adhere to CDD's Children and Adults at Risk Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants.

• Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project.

• Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures.

8. Additional Responsibilities:

• Perform any other responsibility/ special duty delegated by project and CDD management.

• The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is a non-profit organization established in 1996 to develop a more inclusive society for persons with disabilities. CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.

• CDD is one of the most renowned organizations in the field of disability-inclusive development. CDD’s work in Bangladesh is supported by international and national donor agencies/development partners. CDD offers an inclusive, amicable, and respectable work environment.

• CDD is accepting application for the position of ‘MEAL Officer’ under a project named ‘Disability Inclusive Civic Engagement (DICE)’ to be implemented with the supported by the Nagorikata -Civic Engagement Fund (CEF). The duration of the project is till 30th June 2028. The selected candidate will initially be hired for a three-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, his/her employment contract will be renewed on an annual basis.
