কী কী মাছ থাকে?

রেডি টু কুক পাঁচমিশালি তে নদী-হাওড়- বিল ও পুকুরের বিভিন্ন ছোট মাছ থাকে। চিংড়ি, পাবদা, কই, শিং, টেংরা ইত্যাদি ধরনের ছোট মাছ থাকে।

Education:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (with a major in Accounting/Finance), or a closely related field.

  • A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA – Finance/Accounting) will be considered an added advantage.



Requirements:

  • Formal training in project finance, donor compliance, financial reporting, or NGO financial management.

  • Strong understanding of donor-funded project financial rules (e.g., EU, GAC, SDC or INGO donors).

  • Knowledge of Bangladesh financial regulations, taxation, and audit requirements.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting systems commonly used in development organizations.



Responsibilities & Context:

*** Job Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

• Maintain accurate financial records of all project transactions.

• Monitor project budgets and actual expenditures to ensure alignment with approved allocations.

• Ensure compliance with CDD’s financial policies and donor regulations.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in preparing annual and quarterly budgets.

• Provide budget forecasts and variance analyses to the Project Officer.

• Support budget revisions in response to changing project needs.

3. Expenditure Tracking:

• Process invoices, payments, and reimbursements in a timely manner.

• Maintain up-to-date records of all receipts, payments, and supporting documentation.

• Reconcile bank statements and petty cash accounts regularly.

4. Financial Reporting:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal use and donor submission.

• Ensure all financial reports meet required formats and standards.

5. Audit and Compliance:

• Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

• Address audit queries in coordination with the Project Officer and CDD finance team.

• Maintain compliance with national accounting standards and donor-specific rules.

6. Support:

• Provide guidance to project staff on financial procedures and expense reporting.

• Support training initiatives on financial compliance for project team members.

7. Software and Systems:

• Use accounting software to record and monitor transactions.

• Ensure secure data backup and accurate record keeping.

8. Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Adhere to CDD's Children and Adults at Risk Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants.

• Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project.

• Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures.

9. Additional Responsibilities:

• Perform any other responsibility/ special duty delegated by project and CDD management.

CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.

  • CDD is accepting application for the position of ‘Project Accountant’ under a project named ‘Disability Inclusive Civic Engagement (DICE)’ to be implemented with the supported by the Nagorikata -Civic Engagement Fund (CEF). The duration of the project is till 30th June 2028. The selected candidate will initially be hired for a three-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, his/her employment contract will be renewed on an annual basis.
