Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc./M.Sc. in Textile Engineering.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Source & develop raw materials from relevant stakeholders as per buyer requirements from global within timeline.
∎ Liaison with buyer to confirm that chosen material meet customer design aesthetic, quality, performance & price.
∎ Negotiate price, quantity & delivery with suppliers to generate quote comparisons & cost breakdowns.
∎ Work with mills & laundries to develop and execute corrective action plan to upgrade their performance & quality.
∎ Provide color approval of Lab-Dip, Print/strike-off, Yarn Dyed, Bulk, Shade band & Trims on behalf of buyer.
∎ Manage all color standards and color palettes to make an enriched color library.
∎ Evaluate fabric & product test reports & communicate with lab, merchant, mills and provide solutions for failures.
∎ Responsible for all development and production color review/ evaluation also provide comments (Approval/ Rejection) of LD/BULK/TRIM through visually and instrumentally color evaluation procedures with accurate and consistent technique.
∎ Provide technical support to mills/suppliers if any color is rejected 2-3 for taking necessary action.
∎ Maintained spectrophotometer/ Light box certifications service & repair regularly.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Well experience on colorist position in any reputed textile/garments industry.
∎ Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Absolutely proactive, smart, energetic, dynamic leadership, self-motivated, determined and be Tactful to meet the expectation of the customer & capable to work under pressure.
