Additional Requirements:
  • Knowledge of building construction methods and materials·        
  • Understanding of interior works (false ceiling, partitions, flooring, finishes, carpentry)·        
  • Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and interior drawings
  • Basic knowledge of MEP coordination (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)·        
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and site inspection procedures
  • Understanding of safety regulations and building codes·        
  • AutoCAD (essential)·        
  • Basic knowledge of estimation and BOQ preparation·        
  • Familiarity with interior design drawings is an advantage·        
  • Material planning, tracking, and inventory control·

Responsibilities & Context:

Purpose: We are looking for a Civil Engineer who will be involved in construction and interior projects and responsible for managing structural work as well as interior fit-out activities to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.

Construction Responsibilities

  • Supervise on-site construction activities (RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing)

  • Collect Quotations and prepare Comparative Statement (CS) for getting budget approval from the management.

  • Arrange all materials by own responsibilities and finish the work by own supervision accordingly.

  • Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, BOQs, and specifications

  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers

  • Monitor site progress, labor productivity, and material usage

  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes

  • Handle site measurements and prepare bills (RA bills, final bills)

  • Resolve technical issues and site challenges

Interior Responsibilities

  • Supervise interior fit-out works (false ceilings, partitions, carpentry, painting, tiling)

  • Coordinate with interior designers, MEP teams, and vendors

  • Ensure proper installation of fixtures, fittings, and finishes

  • Check alignment, levels, and finishing quality

  • Manage material approvals and mock-ups

  • Ensure interiors meet design intent, functionality, and quality standards

Project Management & Coordination

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports

  • Track project schedules and milestones

  • Assist in cost control and material planning

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and architects

  • Manage handover and snag-list closure

Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Enforce site safety rules and maintain a safe work environment

  • Ensure compliance with local building regulations and fire safety norms

  • Maintain quality control documentation and site records

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain drawings, work schedules, and site registers

  • Prepare as-built drawings and completion reports

  • Support project audits and inspections

  • Analyze survey reports, maps, and test data

  • Design infrastructure such as roads, bridges, buildings, dams, and water systems

  • Prepare drawings, plans, and technical specifications

  • Use engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and environmental regulations

  • Implement and monitor safety procedures at construction sites

  • Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections

Cost Estimation & Budgeting

  • Estimate project costs and quantities of materials

  • Control expenses and help prevent cost overruns
