Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plans, implements, and manages CHW programming across all camps JRRP operates in, in close coordination with CHW Program Officer, Field Admin Officer, and Clinic Leads.
∎ Supporting Program Officers in their regular team meetings, checking in frequently with CHW Program Officers, Facilitators/Supervisors and Team Leaders
∎ Represent the organization both internally and externally concerning community health issues, ensuring its good public image and the alignment with the humanitarian response
∎ Attending relevant coordination meetings (JRRP Extended Leadership Meetings, CHW Working Group, EPI/Contact Tracing, camp management) as necessary
∎ Communicating with the local Rohingya community leaders (e.g. mahjis, imams) on key health messaging and activities
∎ Facilitating external engagement activities such as radio listening groups, contact tracing, language focus group testing, or public art initiatives
∎ Reporting -- submitting reports and data (HIS, EWARS) in a timely manner to PSOs, donors, etc.
∎ Planning and supervision of programming, including the forecasting of projects and needs
∎ Attend Senior Leadership Meetings to represent and troubleshoot any issues and concerns surrounding CHW services
∎ Collaborate with Field Operations and logistics while coordinating project needs, to ensure supplies are maintained and strategically managed
∎ Ensures appropriate duty of care provisions are in place for all staff and visitors, with particular attention paid to security concerns
∎ Ensures the proper recruitment, orientation, training, development, and care of all of new CHWs/CPWs, as necessary
∎ Attend relevant external and internal trainings in order to reproduce learnings at the field level
∎ Provide leadership and people management in managing and bridging different ways of working and diverse working cultures within the teams;
∎ Support direct reports in upholding organization values and ethics by all team members and identifying any possible issue regarding this matter
∎ Keep abreast of environmental, economic, social, political, and religious conditions in the field, and report on such conditions as needed

∎ Age 21 to 35 years

∎ Strong people management skills / interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, teach and mentor staff and volunteers;
∎ Comfortable and persuasive when speaking before both large and small groups;
∎ Ability to interact positively with all levels of the organization and across organizational and cultural boundaries.
∎ Medical fitness to travel and work in the camps, including walking distances and climbing hills, potentially in difficult weather
