LL.B (Honors) and LL.M from a UGC-approved or recognized foreign university with no Third Division/Class in any level of academic career.
Enrollment as an advocate with the Bangladesh Bar Council.
BAR at-Law will be preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in legal practice along with minimum 05 years in any Banks or Financial Institutions, preferably in banking, financial institutions, or corporate legal affairs.
At least 5 years of experience in a senior legal leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of banking laws, loan recovery processes, and regulatory compliance.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong legal acumen and leadership skills to contribute to the bank's legal excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic legal guidance to the bank's management, ensuring compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations and other appropriate laws.
Lead and supervise the legal team by formulating and implementing effective legal strategies, particularly in handling investment defaults, recovery process, and related legal matters.
Oversee legal affairs, including litigation, contract management, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution and legal documentation.
Manage litigation and other legal disputes involving the bank. Represent the bank in legal forums, arbitration proceedings and negotiation.
Provide expert legal counsel to the executives on key business decisions and strategic matters. Conduct legal training and development of training materials.
Represent the bank before different courts of laws, tribunals, arbitration panels, and in key negotiation, ensuring bank’s best interest are effectively safeguarded.
Formulate policies for handling default cases, loan recoveries, and other legal matters.
Ensure the legal rights and interests of the bank.
